User access controls

User access controls overview


User access controls allow you to create groups of learners and assign these groups to specific users. After creating a group, you can link it to a user. A user who you've assigned to a group can sign into the portal, but they will only be able to view the learners within that assigned group. You should not assign users to to an individual group if they need full visibility of all applications.

You can also manage the access rights for each group, giving users tailored levels of access within the portal. In this guide, we refer to LP Portal users from Primary Learning Providers as ‘Primary Learning Provider users’. We'll refer to users who you've assigned a group as ‘Learning Provider group users’.
