The Advanced Learner Loan 2023/24 online application service is now open

The Advanced Learner Loan 2023/24 online application service is now available to learners.

Eligible learners can apply online on GOV.UK. They'll need their Learning and Funding Information Letter (LAFIL) to make an application.

When you issue Learning and Funding Information Letters (LAFILs) to learners, please check that the learning aim is approved for funding in academic year 2023/24.

ESFA has updated the suggested LAFIL template for this year. You can view and download the template from GOV.UK.

Your learners will only be able to apply from today if you have returned your academic year 2023/24 loans contract to ESFA and they have passed this on to us. Please check that this has been done and is visible on the Learning Provider Portal.
