Advanced Learner Loan bulletin – March 2022

Spring 2022 Learning Provider portal training

Our upcoming training events will take place throughout May. These will cover business to business processes and the Learning Provider Portal. They'll also have a specific focus on the administration of loans, financial reporting and complex interactions.

They'll be useful for managers and staff of all approved learning providers. Please look out for an invitation to register soon. They will be held on the following dates:

  • 4 May: London Park Plaza Victoria
  • 12 May: Birmingham Clayton Hotel Birmingham
  • 24 May: Manchester Holiday Inn City Centre

Learning Provider account reviews

As Covid travel restrictions have eased across the UK, we have reverted back to our usual practices. We're arranging face to face account reviews, with the benefit this brings. However, if you're still working from home or in a blended way with limited time in the office, we can accommodate a virtual meeting.

We’ll be in touch to arrange your review but if you'd like to discuss anything in the interim, please contact your FE Account Manager.

Popular learning aims for academic year 2021/22

We've compiled a list of the most popular learning aims for this current academic year. If you'd like a copy of the document to help you plan for academic year 2022/23, please contact your FE Account Manager.

Education and Skills Funding Agency funding contracts for academic year 2022/23

We'll soon publish funding contracts for academic year 2022/23 on the Education and Skills Funding (ESF) portal. Please check your funding allocation for the new academic year before finalising your recruitment plans for next year.

You should raise any queries about your funding allocation with your ESFA territory manager before signing the contract.
