Please join us at this year’s Learning Provider Seminar.

Our seminar lets you share knowledge and gain detailed insight into the operational policy, systems and resources that support Advanced Learner Loans. We, the Department for Education (DfE), the Office for Students (OfS) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) are seeking to optimise provider interaction whilst working collaboratively in the current academic year and planning for the next.

Come along and meet your FE Account Manager and other Student Loans Company colleagues. ESFA will also be on hand to provide information and support.

September performance management review point

ESFA will shortly tell you the outcome of the September review point.

If you've been awarded a loan facility increase, you'll get an updated contract. You must digitally sign and return this before ESFA will tell us about the increase. Please do this as soon as possible.

Change of Circumstance notifications

It is very important you submit suspensions and withdrawals as soon as the change details are finalised. You must do this in line with the service standards:

60% of suspensions and withdrawals submitted within 60 days of notification

99% of suspensions and withdrawals submitted within 90 days of notification

This helps us to minimise overpayments. It also helps to make sure learners enter repayment at the correct time and with the correct interest rate. Finally, it ensures that providers are not in breach of the ESFA funding rules.
