Learning Provider Portal Training Events

These training events will focus on business to business processes and the Learning Provider Portal (LP Portal) with a specific focus on the administration of loans, financial reporting and complex interactions. The events are scheduled to take place in May and are aimed at new staff and existing staff wishing to refresh their knowledge.

The training has been designed to include a mixture of presentations and interactive exercises using scenario based case studies covering best practice and financial monitoring, along with the opportunity for Q&A throughout the session and will end with an "FE Loans Account Manager Surgery" for individual LP queries.

Training Content
The training events will cover a number of areas including:

  • An overview of the roles and responsibilities of SLC and a Learning Provider partnership
  • Portal overview inclusive of search facilities and the export of data
  • Completion and importance of Pre Liability CoCs
  • When and how to complete Attendance Confirmations
  • Completion of Suspensions and Withdrawals
  • A review of all financial reporting functionality and how this can be integrated into Provider business practices
  • Policy and process updates
  • FE Account Manager Q & A Surgery

The training sessions are expected to run from 10am - 4pm and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Cost
The cost per delegate will be £120 + VAT.
