Advanced Learner Loans training events

We're hosting a series of full day, face-to-face training events throughout May.

The training events will focus on business-to-business processes and the LP Portal. We'll cover the administration of loans, financial reporting, and complex interactions.

The events are suitable for new providers, new staff or those who wish to refresh or expand their knowledge. Sessions will run from 10am to 3:30pm.

Training events will take place across the following dates and locations:

13 May - Darlington: SLC, Lingfield Point, Darlington
13 May - London: Electra House, London Fashion Retail Academy
19 May - Manchester: Manchester Metropolitan University Business School
20 May - Birmingham: Sutton Coldfield Campus, Birmingham Metropolitan College

The cost per delegate will be £40 + VAT. We'll provide lunch and refreshments.

Student loan repayment account

You may wish to encourage learners to sign into their student loan repayment account. They can check their balance, see how much they’ve repaid towards their loan and how much interest has been applied so far.

Learners can also view their annual statements online. We'll send a notification when we update the statement. We'll issue paper statements if they've opted out of online statements.

Learners will need their Customer Reference Number or email address, password and secret answer to login.

Advanced Learner Loans in England – academic year (AY) 2025/26

We've published the latest quarterly update for Advanced Learner Loans paid in England in academic year 2025/26, from August to January.

The official statistics are available to view on GOV.UK.

Easter break

In advance of the Easter break, please make sure you review your attendance and Change of Circumstance worklists. Please make sure you deal with all tasks ahead of drawdown on Thursday 9 April.
